Nachtwache is a composition for mixed choir and orchestra by Johannes Brahms. It is also known as the Rhapsody for Choir and Orchestra. It was composed in 1881 and is based on a poem by Nikolaus Lenau. Nachtwache is considered one of Brahms's most important works for choir and orchestra.
