"Traumlicht" (Dream Light) is an orchestral piece composed by Richard Strauss in 1911. Also known as "Träumerei am Kamin" (Chimney Night Reverie), this piece is taken from Strauss's opera "Intermezzo." It is often performed in concert independently of the opera. The piece is characterized by a gentle and expressive melody, with skillful use of the orchestra to create a warm and intimate atmosphere, evoking a scene from the hearth.
