By lending instruments, Talents & Violon’celles supports young musicians at crucial stages in their careers. Competitions, auditions, and admissions to leading institutions: these moments demand total commitment, but also an instrument capable of fully supporting the artistic ambitions of those who play them.

Recently, among those admitted to the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse:

  • Vesa Dume, playing a violin by Bernardel Père thanks to the support of a private patron

  • Valentin Bouanchaud, playing Sylvain Tournaire’s ‘Gramon’ cello, made available thanks to the patronage of Mr Granet Bouffartigue

  • Eva Jeannerot, playing a cello by Gustave Bernardel, courtesy of Mr Burdin de Saint-Martin

They passed this stage with flying colours.

In addition, Rebecca Mazurek, who plays a cello by Alberto Luigi Blanchi thanks to the support of Mr Sénillon; Amanda Guigue, who plays a cello by Roland Houël thanks to the Caisse d’Épargne Bourgogne Franche-Comté; and Elie Benard, who plays a cello by Joseph Hel thanks to the patronage of Mr and Mrs Lizée, are all on the waiting list.

Amanda Guigue has also been accepted into the French Youth Orchestra.

As for the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition:

  • Gabriel Guignier, playing a cello by Salvador Bofill courtesy of the Rosoor family, competed in the competition until the round before the semi-finals. Watch his performance.

  • Léo Ispir, a musician supported by Talents & Violon’celles until 2023 through a cello loan scheme, reached the semi-finals. Watch his performances.

Elise Comte, who plays a cello by Francis Kuttner thanks to the patronage of Joël Rousseau, has been accepted into the Conservatoire’s Laureates’ Orchestra.

Finally, Thomas Briant, playing a Gagliano violin courtesy of the Zilber Foundation, took part in the 2026 Montreal International Music Competition. His run came to an end after the first round of the competition. Watch his performance.

These magnificent achievements serve as a reminder of just how much a high-quality instrument can be a true lifelong companion, capable of fostering artistic growth and enabling young talents to shine in the best possible conditions at crucial moments.

Talents & Violon’celles extends its warmest congratulations to these artists and wishes them every success in their musical journey!

Instruments at the heart of musical journeys

Talents & Violon’celles’ social commitment lies at the heart of its mission. By facilitating access to exceptional instruments through the support of patrons, donors and partner instrument makers, our endowment fund supports young artists—both students and professionals—in developing their musical careers. By removing certain practical barriers, it enables them to devote themselves fully to their art and to expressing their talent.
