Talents & Violon’celles is pleased to announce its partnership with Pax Musica, born out of a shared vision of musical excellence and accessibility.

Fostering musical careers
Because a musician cannot fully showcase their talent without an instrument that is up to the task, the Talents & Violon’celles endowment fund is delighted to announce its partnership with Pax Musica — a collaboration born of a shared conviction: music of the highest calibre knows no boundaries.
Our primary mission is to support up-and-coming musicians whose talent warrants our support. This takes the form, in particular, of lending them high-value instruments – an investment that is often beyond their means – and of supporting French instrument-making and bow-making.
When a musician leaves their home country, they often leave behind far more than just their personal belongings: their instrument, their sheet music, and their network. Resuming a career that matches their level of training in a host country requires practical resources that few can secure on their own. This is precisely one of the obstacles that Pax Musica is committed to overcoming, alongside its partners.

The visions of Talents & Violon’celles and Pax Musica are closely aligned and complement one another, and it is from this natural synergy between the two organisations that this partnership was born.
“Our partnership with Pax Musica is fully in line with Talents & Violon’celles’ mission: to support outstanding musicians as they develop their careers in France. This artistic and social commitment is particularly close to our hearts and also enables us to discover new talent.” Raphaël Pidoux, co-founder, vice-president and artistic director of Talents & Violon’celles
“This partnership is transformative. It enables certain award winners to access instruments that match their standard — an essential prerequisite for getting back on the path to excellence.” Hélène Daccord, founder of Pax Musica
What this partnership makes possible
The loan of high-quality instruments. High-value string instruments are made available to Pax Musica prize-winners who need them most. Talents & Violon'celles handles all contractual and administrative aspects, ensuring a secure framework for all parties — including private owners who wish to make their instruments available through this scheme.
Access to the Patrick Robin rehearsal room. Named in honour of the master luthier who passed away in 2025, our room is now available free of charge to Pax Musica prize-winners — for half a day each week, subject to booking. A professional workspace in the heart of Paris, ensuring that our musicians can rehearse in the best possible conditions.
An open network. Beyond the strings, Talents & Violon'celles is opening up its network to facilitate access to instruments or preferential terms for other instrumentalists among the Pax Musica prize-winners.
First impression: Toma Bervetsky
This partnership is not merely theoretical. Toma Bervetsky, a Ukrainian violinist and a recipient of the 2025–2026 Pax Musica scholarship, was the first to benefit from it in practice. Thanks to this partnership and the patronage of Ms Genès, he was able to try out and borrow a Gand & Bernardel violin, an exceptional French-made instrument, from our partner luthier Coquoz on Rue de Rome in Paris.

Since receiving this loan, Toma has performed at several prestigious venues, including the Studio Bastille at the Paris National Opera on 13 March 2026, alongside his mentor Eva Zavaro. An instrument can change a career. In this case, it has revived one.
A network of partners dedicated to supporting musicians
Talents & Violon’celles relies on a network of dedicated partners who make a wide range of projects possible on a daily basis. Instrument makers, patrons, institutions and key figures in the music world all work together to bring this mission to life. It is thanks to this collective effort that instruments find their musicians and that musical journeys can continue. Every partnership further strengthens this chain of artistic solidarity.
