It is a story of passion, legacy, and trust that keeps getting written in the history of Talents & Violon’celles. We are delighted and honored to announce the addition of three exquisite instruments from Mr. Zilber's collection to our instrument library.
A Legacy of Generosity and Excellence
The adventure began around 1996. Mr. Zilber, a passionate music lover, acquired two exceptional violins and a cello. His wish? That these masterpieces should not remain silent in storage, but should sing in the hands of young talents.
To bring this project to life, he joined forces with the prestigious Maison Vatelot-Rampal. Together, they created the Zilber-Vatelot-Rampal association with a clear mission: to provide promising musicians with quality instruments to propel their careers.

Passing the torch
After decades of active patronage, and as Maison Vatelot-Rampal begins a new chapter in its century-long history under the leadership of Jonathan Marolle and Cécile Paumier, the association will be dissolved at the end of 2024. The choice naturally fell on Talents & Violon’celles to ensure the continuity of this mission, which has since become the leading player in instrument lending in France.
« We are deeply grateful to Mr. Zilber for this mark of confidence. Welcoming his instruments means continuing a shared vision of supporting artists. » François-Xavier Anscutter, President of Talents & Violon'celles

Three prestigious instruments for three talented musicians
These three exceptional pieces now add to our collection of “prestigious” instruments (which includes around fifteen historical instruments out of the 120 managed by the association). They are already accompanying brilliant musicians in their professional careers:
Arthur Decaris has been loaned the violin made by luthier Seraphin (18th century)
Thomas Briant has been loaned the violin by Nicolò Gagliano (18th century)
Juliette Gaudin has been loaned the cello by Bernardel Père (19th century)
Thanks to the generosity of Mr. Zilber, these instruments continue to resonate on the most beautiful stages, giving these young virtuosos a voice that matches their talent.
What if your instrument could also become a springboard?
Mr. Zilber's example shows how lending an instrument can transform the life of a young musician. If you own a high-quality instrument that is just waiting to be played again, Talents & Violon’celles will help you bring it back to life.
By entrusting us with your instrument, you will benefit from the expertise of our leading luthiers, who will carry out a thorough evaluation, while ensuring its maintenance and security. Above all, you will be offering an emerging talented musician the chance to progress with a companion that matches their ambitions.
